Pastor Doug Bankson is an accomplished musician, seasoned preacher, and gifted teacher of the Gospel. The call of God upon his life came at a young age, while traveling with his musically gifted family, ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the United States.

In 1983, Pastor Bankson accepted his first pastorate position at Cornerstone World Outreach in Sioux City, Iowa. Over the next ten years, Doug faithfully served as an associate pastor/youth minister in the local church. During that time, Doug took multiple mission trips to South America, where he taught in Bible schools, working and ministering in both city and rural areas.

While in Sioux City, Doug met and married his wife, Jeri, also an ordained minister. God blessed the Banksons with four children: Benjamin, Joseph, Michael, and Victoria.

In 1995, Pastors Doug and Jeri Bankson pioneered Victory Church World Outreach Center, a multi-ethnic ministry that currently ministers to hundreds within the local church.

In addition to his pastoral accomplishments, Pastor Doug is a pilot, certified scuba diver, accomplished songwriter and producer. He received the Addy Award for vocals on radio, and has traveled and ministered in 49 states and 11 foreign nations, proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Jeri Bankson is a woman of God with a heart to see God’s fire transform lives. Married for 18 years, she is also the mother of four children, ages 12 to 18.

Having graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 1987, she immediately began serving with her husband in ministry at Cornerstone Faith Center in Sioux City, Iowa. During this time, Pastor Jeri owned and operated a successful hair salon, but in the fall of 1992 the Lord called her into a different “laying on of hands ministry.” Relocating to Central Florida, she traveled with her husband Doug across the U.S. and Canada ministering until 1995 when they co-founded Victory Church World Outreach Center where she serves as a co-pastor.

Referred to as a “Holy Ghost Woman” by Dr. Ed Dufresne, Pastor Jeri loves to flow as the Spirit moves to help others stir up the gift and the fire of God.
